WE ARE CEPAS
CEPAS is an Italian Personnel and Training Courses certification body. It was established in 1994 to meet the market’s need for the highest level of competence and experience in professional activities.
CEPAS is a full member of IPC (International Personnel Certification Association), the only international association of the most important Auditor and Training certification bodies.
In 2013, CEPAS decided to separate the institutional activity from the strictly commercial one, in order to further develop the certification activities. For this purpose, we established the company CEPAS S.r.l. which – since 1st September 2013 – took into account the business relating to certifications in their entirety. The company, since then, took rightfully over the contractual relationship with all customers of CEPAS Association.
Our vocation is to certify professionals in accordance with ISO / IEC 17024: “Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons”.
We are accredited by ACCREDIA to operate as Personnel Certification Body, in conformity with CEI EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 (Certificate n° 031C) and as Product Certification Body, in conformity with ISO/IEC 17065:2012 (Certificate n° 152B).
Our mission is to guarantee a high quality of both personnel and training to the market, in the sectors where the demand is the highest. With this aim, the “interested parties” are involved in the definition of requirements and certifications.
The approach to certifications’ and qualifications’ schemes in professional areas not yet established and/or not covered by recognized standards is managed by CEPAS making use of high figures, chosen among the most deeply skilled, experienced and reputed experts – recognized at national level – for the subject matter.
